SHORT PORTRAIT KI-nchen // Society and art in the context of artificial intelligence – Gaswerk Weimar e.V.
The aim is to create a temporary experimental, production and exhibition space where people can exchange ideas about AI & art, experiment together and develop creative projects, regardless of their social and individual circumstances. The various workshop formats, projects, and installations will open up the topic to a wide audience.
“Artificial intelligence is a central and extremely important topic for the future, but one in which many sections of the population are being left behind. The project counteracts this development with subversive energy by enabling participation in the field of technology through artistic debate. With its participatory approach, it not only stimulates social discourse on AI, but above all lays the foundations for more people, including those with diverse biographies, to get involved,” says the jury.

Through creative workshops and exhibitions, we promote understanding of AI and inspire active participation in the digital future.
The funds will be used for the fees of the participating artists and workshop leaders, for rental and production resources as well as for the documentation and organization of our project.
