The Working Group for Cultural Sponsoring of the Association of Arts and Culture of the German Economy at the Federation of German Industries e.V. (Kulturkreis der deutschen Wirtschaft im BDI e.V.) honors the Philip Morris GmbH with the AKF Award for The Power of the Arts.
The Power of the Arts is one of the nominated projects for this year’s AKF-Award.

The new application round will start on April 15, 2021. With a total of 200,000 euros we will support again four outstanding initiatives and institutions that use art to promote an open society. Those who are interested in applying can register now for the application process.
In past years, winning projects have always been honored at a festive awarding ceremony featuring figures from culture, politics, and civil society. Regrettably, we must refrain from holding a ceremonial presentation this year out of consideration for the protection against infections. Nevertheless, we are pleased to present this short summary of all winning projects.

What a party! To honor this year’s The Power of the Arts winners, an award ceremony was held on 30 January 2020 at the F.A.Z. Atrium in Berlin.
