New application phase starts on April 15, 2024

The Power of the Arts award will be presented for the eighth time in a row. Applications are open to non-profit institutions with projects and initiatives in the fields of music, theater, art, dance, literature, architecture, film and applied arts based in Germany. We look forward to receiving many exciting applications!

This year The Power of the Arts is supporting five socially relevant projects with 50,000 euros each. From April 15, 2024, projects from the arts and culture that contribute to shaping a diverse and open society with their transformative power can once again apply.

Since 2017, Philip Morris GmbH has used The Power of the Arts award to support art and cultural projects that use artistic means to create resonance spaces for socio-political developments, catalyze social transformation processes and advocate for an open, diverse and peaceful society.
